Bennington High School proudly celebrated a strong group of six senior athletes who recently signed their National Letters of Intent (or made official commitments) to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. The signings span multiple sports, highlighting the depth of talent in the Badger program.
The honorees include standout performers from volleyball, football, golf, and wrestling, each earning opportunities to compete at the next level.
– Brayden Kreikemeier (Wrestling) signed with Briar Cliff University. The wrestler will join the Chargers in Sioux City, Iowa, at the NAIA level. (Pictured below on the left, photo courtesy of Tisa Kreikemeier)

– Kellen Mann (Wrestling) also committed to Briar Cliff University alongside his teammate Kreikemeier, strengthening the program’s incoming class. (Pictured below on the right, photo courtesy of Tisa Kreikemeier)

– Evynn Olsen (Volleyball) signed with the University of Central Missouri in the MIAA conference. The versatile defensive specialist/libero from the Class of 2026 has been a key contributor for Bennington’s volleyball team.

– Charlie Swoboda (Football) committed to Dordt University. The 6’1″, 250-pound offensive lineman will take his skills to the NAIA level with the Defenders in Sioux Center, Iowa.

– Cole Miller (Football) signed with Doane University. The 6’1″, 210-pound linebacker will join the Tigers in Crete, Nebraska, continuing his football journey in the heart of the state.

– Brady Nichols (Golf) committed to Buena Vista University. Nichols will compete for the Beavers in Storm Lake, Iowa, bringing his talents to the NCAA Division III program.

These commitments reflect the hard work, dedication, and excellence within Bennington High School’s athletic department. School officials, coaches, teammates, and families gathered to mark the occasions, with the athletes participating in formal signing ceremonies attended by supporters on both Wednesday and Friday of last week.
The group represents a bright future for Bennington athletics, as these student-athletes prepare to balance academics and competition at their chosen colleges. Congratulations to all six signees on this exciting milestone- Bennington is proud to see them continue their journeys!
