Bennington High School students earned recognition for their outstanding academic performance and contributions to winter activities, as announced by the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) through the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards for the 2025-2026 winter season.
The NCPA Academic All-State program, which has honored student-athletes and activity participants since 2006, highlights individuals who demonstrate excellence in the classroom while showing leadership and making significant contributions to their NSAA-sponsored activities. Schools nominate students based on strict criteria, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 (or 93%) across all curricular subjects, along with active involvement in varsity-level participation or key roles within their teams or groups.
From Bennington, the following students were named Winter 2025-2026 NCPA Academic All-State Award recipients:
Boys Basketball
– Kale Lamberty
– Brady Nichols
Girls Basketball
– Reese Almquist
– Regan Bluhm
Speech
– Liam Doan
– Kate Miller
Wrestling
– Colton Archer
– Evan Warner
These honorees represent Bennington’s commitment to balancing rigorous academics with competitive success in winter sports and activities. Bennington’s basketball and wrestling programs have enjoyed strong seasons, with the girls’ basketball team recently claiming a Class B state title and the wrestling squad finishing as state runner-up, highlighting the high level of achievement across the district’s athletic programs.
The awards serve as a display of the hard work these students put in both on the court/mat/stage and in their studies. The NSAA and NCPA present the honors seasonally (fall, winter, and spring) to recognize well-rounded student participants who excel in Nebraska’s interscholastic activities.
Congratulations to all the Bennington recipients on this well-deserved honor!
