The Bennington Buzz has officially launched its “March for Journalism” donation campaign, with a goal of raising $5,000 from individual donors in Bennington during the month of March. The campaign is designed to support continued local news coverage and ensure the community has access to reliable, independent reporting about the people, events, and issues that matter most in Bennington.

Community members have already begun stepping up in a big way. Just this week, local donors have contributed $791 toward the campaign goal. All contributions are tax-deductible through the Bennington Community Foundation, which serves as the Buzz’s fiscal sponsor.

The Buzz is also offering an added benefit for local families. Parents of student athletes who would like high-resolution photos of their players can receive them in exchange for a donation to the campaign.
