Nestled at 6161 N 168th St, Omaha, NE 68116, Stone Creek Park is a delightful destination for families seeking outdoor adventure and quality time together. This vibrant community park offers a variety of amenities designed to spark joy for kids of all ages while providing parents with a relaxing and accessible environment.
The park boasts two playgrounds tailored to different age groups. The larger playground features both a classic play structure and a modern rope climbing structure that challenges older kids to test their agility and strength. Nearby, a smaller toddler-friendly playground ensures younger children can play safely. Other features of the playgrounds are low monkey bars, a digger, ride-on toys and a seesaw. Swings add to the fun, inviting kids to soar under the Nebraska sky.
Beyond the playgrounds, Stone Creek Park is a haven for active families. The park includes a soccer field, four pickleball courts, a tennis court and a basketball court, offering plenty of options for friendly family competitions or pick-up games. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, scenic walking trails wind through grassy areas, perfect for a family stroll or a quiet moment to enjoy nature. Located just across the street from Flanagan Lake, walking trails continue to and around the lake, perfect for longer walks or distance runners.
The park’s picnic shelter provides a shaded spot for family lunches or gatherings, and with ample parking, getting everyone to the fun is a breeze. Whether your family is climbing, swinging, kicking a ball or simply soaking in the fresh air, Stone Creek Park delivers a well-rounded experience that makes it a must-visit for Omaha families.
